Carter Horsley's Review of The Van Gogh

Carter Horsley's Building Review
"The West Village is full of nice surprises and this 17-story, red-brick apartment building is one of the few in the city with a curved façade.Erected in 1960, it was converted to a cooperative in 1981. It has 162 apartments. The handsome building, which has a concierge and a doorman and good views from its upper floors, is at the intersection of Greenwich Avenue, which runs into West Eighth Street, and the bottom of Eighth Avenue, which runs into Hudson Street. The building has a recreational roof and several terraces and some of apartments have their own gardens. The neighborhood is full of attractive restaurants and antique shops and is close to the Hudson River. It is also very close to the Chelsea district and its many restaurants and art galleries. Good public transportation is a couple of blocks north at 14th Street." Read Carter's Full Review
